Matt Sheppard raced up from his third-place starting position to snatch the $10,000-to-win Battle on the Midway 100 at Orange County. In his tracks, the Ringoes Rocket Ryan Godown fought off red hot runner Erick Rudolph to secure his best Series finish and a guaranteed starting spot in the Billy Whittaker Cars 200 at NAPA Super DIRT Week XLVIII. Ransomville, NY’s Erick Rudolph outfoxed local Merrittville Speedway stars Ryan Susice and Gary Lindberg to pick up his fourth Super DIRTcar Series win of 2019. Just when the capacity Thorold, Ontario crowd thought it would be a duel between two of their best drivers for the $8,000 payday, Rudolph’s No. 25R came roaring through the top of the field. The Buckeye Bullet, Dave Blaney, took his first career Super DIRTcar Series victory in a 20-lap showdown on the mighty Ohio high banks of Eldora Speedway. July 31, 2019 - ROSSBURG, OH - The 2019 Eldora Dirt Derby 100 will be one to remember. Erick Rudolph bested eight-time Super DIRTcar Series Champion Matt Sheppard with a pass in the final quarter of the race to win $10,000. WEEDSPORT, NY - July 28, 2019 - Super Matt Sheppard needed all of his power and green flag laps he could get to seal his sixth Super DIRTcar Series win of 2019. Having secured a guaranteed start for NAPA Super DIRT Week XLVIII, Sheppard passes the guarantee to runner-up and rival Erick Rudolph. Rudolph started eleventh and worked his way passed all of the best Big Block Modified drivers around except for one. GRANBY, QUE - July 24, 2019 - Super Matt Sheppard survived an eleven-car pileup on lap 29 to drive through the field for his fifth Super DIRTcar Series win in 2019. Sheppard took the lead from Queensland, Australian driver Peter Britten on lap 16 after battling wheel-to-wheel for four consecutive laps. Drummond winner Erick Rudolph rounded out the podium after driving up from the twelfth starting position.

DRUMMONDVILLE, QUE - July 22, 2019 -The winning driver was anyone’s guess throughout the entire 100 laps of action at Autodrome Drummond but Erick Rudolph from Ransomville, NY saved his best stuff for last. NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series standout Stewart Friesen led the most laps but not the one that counted for the win. HBR’s Jimmy Phelps started on the pole position and stayed in the top five all night and crossed the finish line on the final step of the podium. Canandaigua, NY - Thursday, July 4 - On lap ninety-nine out of one hundred Max McLaughlin and Erick Rudolph swapped the lead and made heavy contact in the final corner coming to the checkered flag. A few laps before that Matt Sheppard made a stunning three-wide move going into turn three to get into a podium position. As it turned out, that was the winning move. Billy Dunn crossed the finish line in second place after spending a majority of the race battling wheel-to-wheel in the top 3. In third place, outside pole sitter Just Wright kept his nose clean and finished an impressive third place.

PLATTSBURGH, NY - July 1, 2019 - Lightning Larry Wight takes advantage of a restart at the halfway point to drive passed Matt Sheppard on the outside. Wight and the Gypsum Racing team went home $10,000 richer and now have a guaranteed starting position in the Billy Whittaker Cars 200 at NAPA Super DIRT Week XLVIII in October at Oswego Speedway. Runner-up Matt Sheppard drove to the front early, passing both Mat Williamson and then leader Brett Hearn for the lead. Sheppard had a massive half-track lead at one point but after the bottom line went away for him, he lost his speed. CORNWALL, ON - June 30, 2019 - Matt Sheppard battled up through the top-five to take the lead early in the race but had to go toe-to-toe with The Doctor Danny Johnson to secure the win. Larry Wight crossed the finish line in second place, which is a solid points-finish for the Gypsum Express driver. With another third place podium, Mat Williamson didn't let Sheppard run away with all the points.
