Series Back in Action on Tuesday, May 7 at Outlaw Speedway

FULTON, NY – April 26, 2019 - Anticipated steady rain on Friday coupled with forecasted temperatures on Saturday in the 30s and 40s with gusty winds has forced Fulton Speedway staff, in conjunction with Super DIRTcar Series officials, to cancel the ‘High Bank Holdup Weekend’ Friday and Saturday, April 26-27. No rescheduled dates for either event have been scheduled at this time.

Tires to be awarded to various competitors at events in all four series

Matt Sheppard holds off a host of challengers for first NAPA Super DIRT Week Qualifier of 2019, Williamson and Dunn capture podium finishes

LAFARGVILLE, NY - Matt Sheppard conquered the inaugural Thunder in the Thousand Islands 100, NAPA Super DIRT Week Qualifier from the outside pole. Sheppard defeated all challengers including Jimmy Phelps, Erick Rudolph, Billy Decker, Billy Dunn, and Mat Williamson to hold onto the lead for the huge $10,000 payday. Mat Williamson's brand-new No. 88 Buzzchew Chevy Big-Block Modified ride was stout and finished in Sheppard's tracks for second place. Billy Dunn took advantage of a familiar race track where he's won many races to round out the podium.

DIRTcar Track Spotlight: Can-Am Speedway

CONCORD, NC - A lot of short tracks in the United States call themselves a half-mile, but only a few have distinguished themselves as a “big half-mile” the way Can-Am Speedway has. The “big half-mile” was the first American track that Australian-born Big-Block Modified star Peter Britten raced on after spending his career on quarter-mile bullrings down under, and it made for a serious culture shock. The LaFargeville oval is a fan favorite in the North Country since 1974.

Perrego Poised for Career Year with Graham Racing

Anthony Perrego, the 24-year-old driver out of Montgomery, NY, made his debut in his brand new No.18 Ray Graham Racing, Teo Pro Car, Big Block Modified during the annual DIRTcar Nationals in Florida just last month.

The new combination quickly picked up speed with Perrego collecting two fourth-place finishes and two sixth-place finishes. His four top-ten efforts at Volusia Speedway Park earned him third overall in the final point standings for the DIRTcar Nationals.
