Hefty field expected for Lebanon Valley’s Mr. DIRT Track USA

Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modified event pays $17,500-to-win

West Lebanon, N.Y. – Lebanon Valley Speedway’s premier Big-Block Modified event – Mr. DIRT Track USA 100 – the 14th event of the 2015 Super DIRTcar Series, is set for Tuesday, August 25.

The combination of Super DIRTcar Series invaders and Lebanon Valley regulars is likely to draw 40 or more Big-Block Modifieds in pursuit of the $17,500 winner’s check.

Mel Valade Backhoe 100 rainout make-up - $30,000 purse - $6,000-to-win

CORNWALL, ONT – August 17, 2015 – The Super DIRTcar Big-Block Modified Series crosses the border for its fifth Canadian event of the season, the Mel Valade Backhoe Services 100, Sunday, August 23 at Cornwall Speedway.

Super DIRTcar Series competitors chasing point leader Matt Sheppard, driver of the FX Caprara No. 9, are hoping the three-time Series champion will remain winless in Canada a while longer.

Sheppard weighs in light, but retains point lead

DRUMMONDVILLE, QUEBEC – July 21, 2015 – DIRTcar NE Director of Series and Sanctioning Mike Perrotte confirmed that driver Matt Sheppard received half of the points and money he had apparently earned with his second-place finish in Monday’s Super DIRTcar Series 100 at Autodrome Drummond after weighing in five pounds light during post-race inspection.

Perrotte cited the DIRTcar rule book which states, "If the weight violation occurs after the feature race and is 10 lbs or less, the competitor may receive one half of his potential purse money and one half of the earned points for that feature event".

Back-to-back Super DIRTcar Series events at Drummond, Granby

DRUMMONDVILLE, QC – July 17, 2015 – The Super DIRTcar Series swings into action on back-to-back nights in the province of Quebec Monday, July 20 and Tuesday July 21 at Autodrome Drummond and Autodrome Granby with a deadlock atop the championship point standings.

Matt Sheppard of Waterloo, N.Y. and defending Series champion Billy Decker of Unadilla, N.Y. are currently tied (704) for 1st-place in the Big-Block Modified Series point standings.
