Billy Whittaker Cars Named as Title Sponsor of 200-Lap Big-Block Finale at NAPA Super DIRT Week

CONCORD, NC — Sept. 1, 2017 — DIRTcar Racing is pleased to announce that Billy Whittaker Cars and Trux has signed on as the title sponsor of NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week’s Big-Block Modified main event, now called the Billy Whittaker Cars 200. The Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modified crown-jewel event on Sunday, October 8 will feature over 40 competitors, all trying to etch their name in the history books as NAPA Super DIRT Week champions and take home the $50,000 winner’s check.

Mr. DIRT Track USA Headlines Holiday Weekend for Super DIRTcar Series

CONCORD, NC — August 29, 2017 — The Super DIRTcar Series kicks off a big holiday weekend with the running of Mr. DIRT Track USA at Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon, NY on Thursday August 31.

Chad Brachmann Returns to Site of First Super DIRTcar Series Win

Sanborn, NY driver looks for repeat in Series’ second visit to Ohsweken

CONCORD, NC – August 18, 2017 – When the Super DIRTcar Series resumes action with its second-ever visit to Ohsweken Speedway on August 24, the winner of the inaugural stopover will look to repeat his triumph. Chad Brachmann of Sanborn, NY earned his first career Super DIRTcar Series win in the first-ever Triple Crown Showdown at Ohsweken on June 30, 2015 in what remains one of his greatest career accomplishments to date.

“The biggest thing I remember is finishing the redraw and thinking about how many good cars I had to pass to get to the front,” Brachmann recalled.

CONCORD, NC – August 7, 2017 – Tonight’s Super DIRTcar Series Bob St. Amand Memorial 100 at Merrittville Speedway has been postponed due afternoon rain and a forecast for inclement weather at the racetrack. The event will now take place on Wednesday, August 9.

Stops at Merrittville and Ransomville to Kick Start August

August 3, 2017 – After two weeks off, the Super DIRTcar Series is set to roar back to life with a pair of stops in the Niagara Region. The Series will visit Merrittville Speedway on Monday, August 7 for the 8th annual Bob St. Amand Memorial 100 and Ransomville Speedway on Tuesday, August 8 for the 33rd Summer Nationals.

The Super DIRTcar Series’ annual stop at Merrittville, located in Thorold, Ont., is always a fan favorite. The race takes place each year on Ontario’s civic holiday and the first Monday in August. This year’s event marks the 33rd Series race at Merrittville, dating back to 1972. The Bob St. Amand Memorial honors the former Merrittville champion and official who passed away in 2009. The race also features the coolest driver introductions in all of motorsports as the cars roll directly in front of the grandstands before taking the green flag for the 100-lap main event.

CONCORD, NC – July 24, 2017 – Tonight’s Super DIRTcar Series event at Autodrome Drummond in Drummondville, QC has been postponed due a forecast for rain and continued inclement weather at the racetrack. The race will now take place on Wednesday, July 26, 2017.

“The grounds are already wet, and a forecast for continued rain does not provide adequate racing conditions for tonight’s event,” said Super DIRTcar Series director Mike Perrotte. “It was important to us and to Yan Bussiere and his staff at Autodrome Drummond to reschedule this event. We know how much the fans in Quebec love to see the Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds each season.”

CONCORD, NC – July 24, 2017 – The Super DIRTcar Series is pleased to announce it has rescheduled its event at Cornwall Motor Speedway for Sunday, September 17. The event was originally scheduled for July 9, but was postponed due to rain. The rescheduling ensures the Super DIRTcar Series will return to Cornwall for the 17th straight season.

David Hebert Looks to Challenge Super DIRTcar Series Regulars at Autodrome Granby

CONCORD, NC — July 14, 2017 — Part of the always popular trip up north for the Super DIRTcar Series, the pristine Autodrome Granby will host the second stop on Tuesday, July 25. Coming off a solid fifth-place finish last season in this event, David Hebert is confident he can repeat similar results in this year’s race.

‘’The team has purchased a new car specifically to run Big-Block races,’’ mentioned the current points leader at Granby. ‘’We have the same engine package as last year, but I feel ready to compete.’’
