All Dirt Roads Lead to The Dirt Track at Charlotte for the World of Outlaws World Finals presented by Cam-Am

CONCORD, NC – October 15, 2018 - It all comes down to this. After 26 feature races, only 40 points separate Championship points leader Matt Sheppard from second-place Erick Rudolph. The World of Outlaws World Finals presented by Can-Am sets the stage at The Dirt Track at Charlotte for two Championship-deciding Feature events. No stages, no playoffs, no gimmicks, just two drivers battling for every position and every point down to the last race.
Who will be crowned Champion of the premier Big-Block Modified tour in the country? Sheppard leads the Super DIRTcar Series in wins with four, while Rudolph has been consistent all year long. Rudolph closed the gap at Brockville Ontario Speedway with the Feature win, a Heat Race win, and the Billy Whittaker Cars Fast-Time Award, while Sheppard stayed in the top ten throughout the night to finish sixth.

NAPA Super DIRT Week Concludes on Sunday, October 7 with the Grand Daddy of All Big-Block Modified Races, the Billy Whittaker Cars 200

CONCORD, NC – September 27, 2018 – NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week is an event like no other, culminating with one of the most coveted races in all of dirt motorsports, the Billy Whittaker Cars 200. All eyes will be on Oswego Speedway from October 1-7 wanting to know who will win the Teo Pro Car Pole Award, who looks racy in practice, who will make an epic drive in the Last Chance Showdown to make the feature, and of course, who will take home the $50,000 paycheck at the end of 200 grueling laps on the 5/8-mile Oswego Speedway.
The stars and cars of the Big-Block Modifieds have battled wheel-to-wheel all season long on the road to Oswego. This year seven Super DIRTcar Series races offered a special guaranteed starter award to the winner or highest finishing driver without one. The drama and tension of NAPA Super DIRT Week started long before October 1, rather in April, May, and June as the Super DIRTcar Series set out across the Northeast and Canada.

Why Race Super DIRT Week?

by Mandee Pauch, via FloRacing.com

OSWEGO, NY — Sept. 5, 2018 — It is the biggest Big-Block Modified race in the world and holds the largest purse of any short track event for the Modifieds.

It is the five-day extravaganza known as NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week raced at Oswego Speedway in Oswego, NY. Oswego Speedway, known for its high speeds on asphalt, gets transformed once a year into a dirt track just for this prestigious event.

In 2018, 55 drivers attempted to qualify for this event.

Why you may ask?

In addition to being the most prestigious Big-Block Modified race in the world, it also pays the most money. Sunday’s Billy Whittaker Cars 200 Feature pays $50,000 to win.

Let’s see why some of the top drivers in the Northeast say drivers should race NAPA Super DIRT Week:
